Job Overview:
The Medical Intake Representative will play a vital role in presenting medical consulting services to U.S. Military Veterans seeking assistance with pursuing the VA disability benefits. You will build meaningful connections with veteran clients by demonstrating compassion and establishing rapport, while effectively communicating the value of our services.Your goal is to create motivation and guide veteran clients through the process of gathering necessary documentation to develop a comprehensive review strategy.
This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information clearly and professionally, ensuring veteran clients understand our process and feel supported throughout their journey.

Responsibilities:
- Selling and presenting a private medical consulting service to U.S. Military Veterans who need assistance with pursing the VA disability benefits for which they qualify.
- Effectively establish rapport, demonstrate compassion, present our company value, and create motivation with veteran client to gather necessary documents to help build an initial review strategy designed to help the veteran client gain all eligible disability compensation.
- Strong ability to articulate thoughts in a precise and professional manner so veteran clients are clear on our process to assist.
- Entering and updating veteran client information into CRM system.
- Managing assigned leads efficiently as directed by leadership.
- Meeting minimum daily performance and activity metrics.
- Resolving veteran objections, concerns, and issues to help them see value in using VCP’s services.
- Ability to effectively communicate Initial Review Claim path to veterans to gain interest in our services.
- Ability to gain commitment from veteran by getting their signature on our Medical Consulting Services Agreement which contains terms, fees, and details of payment to be rendered by client.
- Making up to 50-100 calls a day, average phone time seven(7) hours a day.
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- High school Diploma or Equivalent A.S. In Business preferred.
- Two years of metrics-based telephone sales/client relations or account management in a high-volume customer environment.
- Able to attend a six (6) week training.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow and perform intake script while building rapport with clients.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, Google based documents, CRM, and proprietary software applications.
- Achieve established daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Manage veteran contacts through CRM to ensure proper notation of actions.
- Effectively overcome objections and concerns to keep qualified veterans interested in getting our assistance.
- Active listening skills on each call with the ability to retain information while multitasking through software applications including concise and accurate notation in CRM to complete calls in timely and efficient manner.
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload.
