AS550 - Part-Time or Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook - Upper West Side

Overview:

A sweet family of four is seeking a part-time or full-time housekeeper/cook to work at their home on the Upper West Side. The schedule for this role is flexible- the family is seeking at least three non-consecutive days per week, and they are open to providing full-time Monday through Friday employment for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• All housekeeping for a two bedroom apartment, including deep cleaning and daily tidying
• Family laundry
• Basic meal preparation- simple family style dinners, following a recipe
• Local errands, such as dropping off dry-cleaning or sending packages
• Grocery shopping as needed
• Admitting and supervising vendors in the home
• Very occasional childcare if the nanny is sick

Qualifications:

• Family friendly- this is not a childcare position, but there are children in the home and the candidate should feel comfortable working with and around them
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Warm and kind
• Comfortable in the kitchen- the family is not seeking a chef, but someone who is comfortable preparing simple meals on a weekly basis

Requirements:

• Covid vaccinated
• Experience in housekeeping with a busy family

Salary and Benefits:

• $35/hr.
• 2 weeks PTO
