Inpatient Psychiatrist
Overview:
We are recruiting Board-Certified Psychiatrists to join Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital. Bronson Behavioral is a newly constructed behavioral health facility located in Battle Creek, MI. Bronson Behavioral is the region’s leading provider of acute mental health treatment for adults 18 and older.This state-of-the-art, 96-bed inpatient behavioral health facility provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients of all genders to find emotional stabilization and pursue healing. Our team of professionals utilize a comprehensive approach to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient.
This Psychiatrist is eligible for Student Loan repayment program that is available via Bronson Health Group, the local nonpofit physician group.This is a full-time inpatient position with complete benefits including PTO, CME leave and allowance, paid liability, health, and life insurance.Great opportunity with our Joint Venture partner Bronson Health.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
