Responsibilities:- Assist in the process of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Execute data entry tasks with precision.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers.
- Maintain attention to detail while multitasking.
- Utilize Excel Formulas effectively for accounting purposes.
- Contribute to Month End Close procedures.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and the team. • Proficiency in using Excel Formulas, particularly in the context of accounting and finance.
- Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including processing, recording, and tracking incoming payments.
- Proven ability to handle Month End Close tasks, including account reconciliations and financial report preparations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within an educational institution.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with accounting software and databases.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Willingness to continuously improve and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
