Organizes and maintains drawings, prints, diagrams, word documents and pdf documents. Works closely with designers, engineers, and power station personnel to find and perform simple drafting tasks and revisions to drawings and documents. Compiles and organizes submittal drawings and documents from 3rd party vendors and consultants.
Locates, modifies and prints drawings using small and large format plotter.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills:quot;AUTOCAD" or "CAD" OR "MICROSTATION") AND (DRAFTING OR DRAFTS OR DRAFTER) AND (MAP) Basic knowledge of drafting principles.
Basic knowledge of building and construction principles. Good analytical and abstract thinking with the ability to process detailed information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Ability to process and understand maps and charts.
Ability to use Microsoft office suite of software. Ability to use AutoCAD and/or Micro Station drawing software. 3 - 5 years of experience. Associates Degree Preferred (demonstrated related knowledge, skills, experience may be substituted for preferred educationOur client is a leading Electric utility Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
