Annual Giving Events Manager| Fund Development| Days| Full Time - Tampa
Overview:
The Annual Giving and Events Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, management and growth of the UF Health St Johns Foundation’s annual giving programs ranging from targeted appeals to special events.
Responsibilities:
Work independently to conceptualize and produce targeted, compelling annual giving appeals, using various fundraising channels, methods and resources, to identify, retain and upgrade donors.
Create and distribute direct mail and electronic appeals, donor newsletters, annual reports, social media content and website updates to achieve increased donor engagement and stewardship.
Oversee and continually grow the Grateful Patient Program with monthly communications and appeals.
Manage and promote annual giving and events to internal and external constituents through in-person presentations, direct mail and electronic communications.
Plan and execute a minimum of three annual signature events (such as 5K race, skeet shoot, golf tournament and black-tie gala) and smaller-scale community events during significant times of year (Breast Cancer Awareness, Nurses Week, etc.).
Identify, cultivate, solicit and broaden individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities s for annual events.
Update donor recognition panels and donor materials as needed.
Produce and utilize reports for annual giving and events analysis, to include campaign, approach and return on investment data.
Leverage inter-department collaboration to create and disseminate promotional items, print material and social media content.
Implement and expand multi-level giving societies for constituent groups, such as employee, physician and annual giving leadership donors.
Create and implement Auxiliary volunteer recruitment strategies and represent the department using verbal presentations, as well as social media and other digital communication platforms, to grow volunteer base.
Direct Auxiliary annual fundraising events and develop new fundraising opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Three to five years of director fundraising or related experience required.
