Business Development Consultant
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our market presence. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to foster lasting relationships with clients.As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic plans, and managing projects to ensure successful implementation. This is a part-time, remote, commission-only sales role, with the goal of growing into a full-time salary + commission role as the firm grows.

Duties- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Using provided leads, contact and cultivate potential new clients.
- Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on progress.
- Conduct presentations and proposals to potential clients to showcase services and solutions.
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, demonstrating a track record of success in achieving targets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in strategic planning and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred, but not required.
Transparent Pay Structure:
- Uncapped commission
- 10% gross commission on all clients landed from provided leads. (Avg. deal size $10,000-$80,000)
- 15% gross commission on all clients landed from self-generated leads. (Avg. deal size $10,000-$80,000)
- Annual Bonus: $10,000 for every five clients landed.

The goal of this role will be to grow into a full-time salary + commission role within the first year and to promote into a VP of Growth role within the first two years.
