We are seeking an SEO Developer to join our client's team on a project focused on optimizing site performance, enhancing search engine visibility, and implementing technical SEO best practices. This role will serve as an intermediary resource, closely collaborating with their existing front-end developer to ensure seamless integration of SEO strategies into the overall website infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SEO development, with expertise in platforms and tools such as WordPress, HTML, and Java. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, including the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director, to align your work within larger marketing strategies aimed at driving traffic and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site audits to identify areas for improvements in SEO performance (e.g., indexing issues, page load speed, mobile responsiveness).
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including schema markup, meta tag optimization, and URL structure enhancements.
- Develop, test, and deploy SEO-oriented updates in WordPress and other front-end codebases (HTML, Java).
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of SEO strategies with website design and functionality.
- Monitor organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush, delivering regular reports on progress and key metrics.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes from leading search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) to ensure continued adherence to best practices.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in WordPress development for customization and SEO optimization.
- Strong knowledge of coding languages, particularly HTML and Java.
- Proven experience in SEO development with measurable results in search rankings and organic traffic growth.
