Manufacturing Engineer

As an entry-level Engineer starting out in your career, you will be responsible for providing engineer and technical support for our engineering process and projects. Your good communication skills will be used to collaborate with other departments/teams throughout the plant, as well as troubleshoot any issues as they arise.

On a typical day as a Manufacturing Engineer you will:

  • Assist with the maintenance of standard procedures and instructions in support of our manufacturing needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise, and work with other areas to implement improvements.
  • Provide technical support for customer and/or vendor needs.
  • Participate in 3rd party audits with the team.
  • Participate in projects with the team.
  • Provide day-to-day support in the engineering discipline.

What we are looking for from you as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • A four year degree in mechanical engineering or a related field,
  • Some basic blueprint reading skills, engineering drawing interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing skills, 2D and/or 3D CAD,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and good computer literacy,
  • Highly motivated to succeed in engineering and manufacturing,
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities,
  • Some mechanical background - hands-on in machining or machinery repair,
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the company and external clients; written or verbally,
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 15lbs when necessary
