Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in San Jose, California. This role is in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry and will require you to keep track of financial transactions, maintain customer accounts and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Manage and update customer accounts to ensure accurate records
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure all financial data is accurate
• Efficiently handle check runs to maintain smooth financial operations
• Code invoices accurately to ensure correct billing
• Carry out data entry tasks, ensuring all customer and transaction data is accurately entered into our systems
• Process invoices in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform various tasks
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers to resolve any inquiries. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Experience in executing Check Runs is desirable
• Proficiency in Coding Invoices is necessary
• Strong Data Entry skills are needed
• Experience in Invoice Processing is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Familiarity with Oracle is desirable
• Experience with QuickBooks is a must
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
