Property Administrator

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in the Real Estate & Property industry. Our office is located in Columbia, Maryland and the role will involve maintaining relationships with vendors and tenants, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Administration of contracts including creating new contracts, purchase orders, and lease-related documents.
- Oversee the process of contract amendments, renewals, expansions, and terminations.
- Maintain an up-to-date database for vendor/contractor and tenant Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
- Review COIs to ensure compliance with company policies and lease/contract requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, COIs, and other related documents.
- Generate reports as needed for management review.
- Provide support to Tenant Coordination and the Portfolio Manager with work order ticket support and project coordination.
- Ensure all contract-related activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with property management, leasing, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of Accounting Functions
- Ability to handle Correspondence and Documentation
- Understanding of Insurance policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of basic accounting functions
- Capable of managing correspondence efficiently
- Experience in handling documentation related to property administration
- Familiarity with insurance policies relevant to the real estate and property industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
- Prior experience in a similar role in the real estate industry would be advantageous.
