Property Administrator

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in the Real Estate & Property industry. Our office is located in Columbia, Maryland and the role will involve maintaining relationships with vendors and tenants, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of contracts including creating new contracts, purchase orders, and lease-related documents.
  • Oversee the process of contract amendments, renewals, expansions, and terminations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database for vendor/contractor and tenant Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
  • Review COIs to ensure compliance with company policies and lease/contract requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, COIs, and other related documents.
  • Generate reports as needed for management review.
  • Provide support to Tenant Coordination and the Portfolio Manager with work order ticket support and project coordination.
  • Ensure all contract-related activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with property management, leasing, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of Accounting Functions
  • Ability to handle Correspondence and Documentation
  • Understanding of Insurance policies and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of basic accounting functions
  • Capable of managing correspondence efficiently
  • Experience in handling documentation related to property administration
  • Familiarity with insurance policies relevant to the real estate and property industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
  • Prior experience in a similar role in the real estate industry would be advantageous.
