An Electrical Engineer Senior is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Cary, NC area. This role involves leading an electrical engineering team to deliver innovative energy solutions, mentoring junior staff, driving business development, and collaborating with clients to design and execute sustainable power systems.

responsibilities:

• Mentor and/or manage junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff.
• Collaborate closely with clients to deliver exceptional services in energy resiliency and decarbonization.
• Lead strategy formation, business development, and sales to expand the energy transition portfolio.
• Engage with clients to assess energy needs, develop concept plans, and provide full execution of solutions.
• Provide end-to-end lifecycle service from exploration to operation, repowering, or retirement of projects.
• Lead an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions.
• Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits.

Skills:

• Experience engaging clients, developing relationships, and delivering innovative solutions.
• Expertise in business growth strategy and exploration of new project opportunities.
• Proven ability to develop proposals and execute project planning (scope development, manhour estimates).
• Passion for mentoring and developing junior technical staff.
• strong communication and technical writing skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering design and/or consulting.
