About this Position / Responsibilities:
Looking for an experienced Project Manager who has managed web projects and mobile application development. This project is for the onboarding of staff to support the implementation of the SmarTripMobile App 2.0 by providing application integration and deployment to include development; configuration and testing; and deployment of the code tor production environments and oversee the day-to-day responsibility of managing in-scope Web Applications project.
- Coordinate project team activities with other teams and senior management.
- Communicate with sponsoring organizations to assist in needs assessment and functional specs.
- Draft specifications and develop work plan definitions.
- Manage tasks, overall deliverables, and status tracking.
- Apply best practices and agile project management methodologies appropriate to the project scope.
- Develop and manage the project schedule using, MS Project.
- Provide status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Prepare project reports for management, clients, and others.
- Confer with project team members to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
- Hold regular project meetings with stakeholders to monitor progress and communicate actions required.
- Proactively solve problems to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct and evaluate post-mortems to improve future projects.
- Manage project issues, revise plans as necessary, and communicate changes to project team members.
- Maintain close contact with project sponsors; ensuring shared vision, stakeholder buy-in, and project support.
- Successfully complete mandatory security awareness training on annual basis.
- Review and assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation. components and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or in a related discipline.
- 3 Years Experience leading complex web application projects in an Agile software development methodology
- 3 Years Experience utilizing Agile SDLC tools such as Cloud JIRA, JIRA, Confluence, Test Rail, Bamboo, and Bitbucket to manage and control project tasks.
- 2 Years Experience performing the duties identified above in an information technology operation (C# .NET, .NET CORE)
- 5 Years Hands-on application experience with General Order Track Rights System and Site-Specific Work Plan applications.
