Our prestigious client in College Grove, TN, is seeking an Accounting Manager. This role focuses on managing accounting functions and providing essential information to the home office. This position offers a contract employment opportunity and requires the ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing, tracking, and coding of invoices, ensuring they are sent to the home office accurately.
• Oversee the payroll process and some HR tasks including the approval of all hourly staff.
• Manage member communications, addressing questions about memberships and payments.
• Monitor and manage the Point of Sale (POS) systems across various outlets.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance reporting.
• Perform cash reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise the work of the Staff Accountant, coordinating between the home office and this role.
• Manage ad-hoc projects from the corporate office as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Familiarity with Billing Functions and invoicing
• Knowledge of NetSuite and Jonas Club Software systems is preferred
• Ability to perform variance analysis and cash reconciliations
• Experience with Dayforce software is a plus
• Understanding of daily cash receipts management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
