Job Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager / Lead Network Engineer to join our client's IT team. This dual role involves overseeing and managing the complete lifecycle of IT projects as well as leading network engineering tasks. The successful candidate will drive the development and execution of high-performing, large-volume integration applications and maintain efficient network operations.

Requirements
  • Manage and oversee the lifecycle of IT projects, including project scope, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Provide project management, prioritization, direction, and leadership to achieve defined project deliverables.
  • Work directly with the GIT Infrastructure team to execute strategies and facilitate business analysis.
  • Support the Network team as a lead engineer, focusing on the implementation and maintenance of network technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex network outages and provide technical support to ensure reliable operations of company information systems.
  • Develop, enforce, and maintain information security controls and standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT and business groups, sharing information and negotiating solutions to technical challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Five or more (5+) years of related project management experience.
  • Practical experience leading projects through all phases of delivery.
  • Strong technical skills in network firewall technology, IDS/IPS security technology, Cisco routing/switching, and network management.
  • Proficiency with Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience managing enterprise vendor migration initiatives.
  • Experience with newer technologies like network segmentation and SD-WAN.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Network Experience:

  • Comprehensive experience with LAN/WAN, remote office operations, and VoIP operations.
  • Knowledge of SASE networks, mobile end-user support, and cloud implementation.
