Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • New Program Integration - Lead customer program launches, perform DFM analysis, optimize designs for manufacturability, and develop processes, control plans, and training.
  • Tooling & Vendor Collaboration - Work with vendors to develop and evaluate tooling for efficiency, quality, and ergonomics.
  • Process Improvement & Quality - Address manufacturing challenges, update processes, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
  • Customer & Team Communication - Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve design and manufacturing concerns.
  • Production Optimization - Design work cells, apply Lean principles, and conduct labor and capacity studies to meet production goals.
  • Hands-on & Equipment Evaluation - Perform mechanical tasks and assess new processing techniques and equipment for quality compliance.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have what follows:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Manufacturing; 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in PCBA assembly and mechanical assembly.
  • SMT experience is a PLUS.
  • Experience working with customers on production launches and problem resolution.
  • Proficient in Lean manufacturing.
