Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Tampa, Florida, 33607, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in various financial operations within our team. Your main task will be to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting month-end closing procedures and ensuring all financial data is accurate
• Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) team with various tasks as needed
• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations which include bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
• Maintaining accurate General Ledger (GL) records
• Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports as requested.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated capability in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Profound knowledge of General Ledger management
• Proficient in preparing and maintaining Journal Entries
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software
• Experience in using Oracle for financial management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Demonstrated experience in using SAP for financial operations
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
