Copywriter

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for an agency copywriter for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with designers, strategists, and account managers to develop copy that aligns with our clients' brand voices and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear, compelling, and creative copy for a variety of channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, print advertisements, video scripts, and more.
• Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm and execute ideas that align with client goals and brand guidelines.
• Conduct research and interviews to understand the client’s industry, target audience, and marketing objectives.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and tone.
• Work with account managers to present and pitch copy ideas to clients, incorporating feedback to refine the final deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to continually improve content strategies.
• Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for maximum impact and engagement.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably within an agency setting.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content across various platforms.
• Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different brand voices and target audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
