Responsibilities:

Visual Strategy Development:
  • Lead creating and implementing visual communication strategies to enhance the organization’s brand and messaging across all applicable platforms.
Graphic Design and Multimedia Production:
  • Design and produce high-quality visual assets, including graphics, infographics, presentations, reports, videos, etc.
Brand Management:
  • Ensure that all visual materials align with the organization’s brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, imagery, and messaging across all communications.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop visuals that effectively support program initiatives.
Multimedia Storytelling:
  • Develop and execute compelling visual narratives for digital and traditional media, utilizing photography, video, and animation to engage audiences.
User Experience (UX) Design:
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for digital platforms, focusing on enhancing user experience.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of visual communication strategies, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement and impact.
Innovation:
  • Stay current on visual design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively introduce new creative concepts and ideas to enhance visual communication efforts.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling and brand development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong knowledge of digital design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and other UX/UI design software.
  • Expertise in video production, motion graphics, and animation.
  • Exceptional creativity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with web design principles (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience supporting federal or state government agencies, particularly public-health focused agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Pay Range: USD $81,000.00 - USD $91,000.00 /Yr.
