Accounts Payable Manager

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in Cullman, Alabama. This role will be providing interim support with the potential for long-term engagement. The position is with a well-established, growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient processing of customer applications
• Maintain accurate records of customer credits
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Implement and manage the use of account coding and Concur in the processing of accounts payable
• Ensure accurate data processing for all customer accounts
• Apply knowledge of accrual accounting to maintain and manage customer accounts
• Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient financial transactions
• Provide interim support as necessary to ensure seamless operation of the accounts payable department.
• Ability to manage large volumes of Data Processing
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proven managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
