Data Delivery Architect - Denodo

We are in the automotive industry, based in Houston, Texas, and are in search of a Software Delivery Manager. This role will entail overseeing the execution of data delivery strategies, guiding a team to build and maintain a self-sustainable Business Intelligence (BI) platform, and managing BI demand.

• Oversee the execution of data delivery strategies using Denodo
• Guide the team through all phases of analytic projects, from requirements gathering to data architecture and integration guidance
• Develop support artifacts and ensure the maintenance of a self-sustainable BI platform
• Create and govern data architecture standards
• Manage BI demand, coordinate resource capacity, and prioritize and lead the scoping effort
• Mentor others in maintainable development practices and code reviews
• Manage complex, high-quantity and potentially contradictory information to effectively solve problems
• Apply knowledge of the business to advance organizational goals
• Navigate complex policy, people and process-related organizational dynamics
• Ensure correct capitalization / expense activities of the project team
• Provide business insight across multiple domains.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Software Delivery Manager role with direct experience with Denodo
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL is essential
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL - Transact-SQL is a must
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with LDAP is required
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling techniques is necessary
• Strong skills in JDBC are needed
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated experience managing a team and delivering software projects on time and within budget
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Superior communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful software project throughout its lifecycle
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on team motivation and personnel development
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
