This role is virtual and coordinates with Aon teams and partnering carriers around the country.

What the day will look like- Oversees RFP and renewal transactions on behalf of local client teams
- Analyses terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors on behalf of clients
- Peer reviews RFP and renewal transactions for U.S. Broking colleagues
- Works closely with supporting analysts, vendors, specialty groups, and client teams to deliver client value through consistent deliverables
- Consults as subject matter expert to develop and drive the strategy and approach of U.S. Broking benefits
- Subject matter expert to answer market trend and product questions from the field
- Mentors and trains junior colleagues within the practice

Skills and experience that will lead to success- Life & Health license required
- Benefit consulting or benefit management experience required
- Strong project management discipline and experience leading projects independently
- Professional approach and strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong product and technical knowledge; specific (but not limited to) Medical and Stop Loss employee benefits
- Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $85,000 - $112,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
