Accounting Assistant

We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Greenville, North Carolina. The primary function of this role is to support our accounting operations across various sectors of our organization. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Handle invoicing duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks such as inputting deductions.
• Manage project billing, ensuring all financial aspects are accurately reflected and updated.
• Monitor and ensure equipment bills are paid on time to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist with Payroll duties, including data entry and review.
• Maintain and manage spreadsheets, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Set up appointments, coordinating schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP
• Financial Services, CaseWare, Concur, and ERP
• Enterprise Resource Planning in performing daily tasks.
• Perform accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain Accounting Control measures to ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledgeable in CaseWare
• Familiarity with Concur
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Auditing
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Understanding of Accounting Control
