Salary: Starting at $27.50 / hour depending on educations / experience

Hours:

Part-time; evening or overnight on weekends

This is a Part Time position with the following benefits:

• Time and a half paid for work on Agency-recognized holidays
• Training opportunities provided throughout the year

Responsibilities:

• The Behavioral Health Clinician interviews consumers.
• Provides crisis intervention counseling and stabilization
• Completes on-site crisis assessments.
• Develops least restrictive treatment plans.
• Refers and links consumers to appropriate/available resources and answers a 24-hour hotline.
• Required to report to work in inclement weather.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary, including interpretation of assessments and other data, to provide the appropriate care, including age-related, needed by consumers served.
• The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served.
• May perform additional duties as requested by the Director/Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and one year of experience in mental health crisis intervention or Bachelor’s degree in human services plus two years of experience in mental health crisis intervention.
• Your driver's license must be in good standing, with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
