Overnight Registration Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and compassionate Overnight Registration Specialist to join a local healthcare facility. Under general supervision, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and other related duties as required.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the admission and registration of patients arriving at our healthcare facility during the night shift.
• Complete insurance verification to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Manage scheduling inquiries and make modifications as needed.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulations in handling patient information.
• Responsibly handle sensitive situations, including patients experiencing crises.
• Direct and assist patients and family members to appropriate departments.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Good understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with patient registration software or health information systems is a plus.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
