Office Assistant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Haslett, Michigan. This role requires someone with a high degree of organization and attention to detail, who will work on-site to ensure the smooth running of our sizable residential property.
Responsibilities:- Handle inquiries from prospective tenants, including scheduling and conducting apartment tours, as part of leasing support duties.
- Respond to tenant concerns and maintenance issues in a timely and detail oriented manner.
- Coordinate with Robert Half to manage work orders and resolve problems.
- Carry out general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Manage email correspondence and maintain up-to-date tenant records.
- Oversee the front desk, greeting visitors and answering phones to maintain a welcoming and organized environment.
- Collaborate with Robert Half to monitor and address property needs, keeping track of work orders and tenant communications.
- Use sales experience to highlight available units and upsell features that align with tenant needs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement, with the expectation of using this tool for various tasks such as data analysis and record keeping.
- Strong scheduling skills are needed, as the role involves managing appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Candidates should have basic office skills, including but not limited to filing, typing, and handling mail.
- Experience with a switchboard is necessary, specifically with handling 1 to 10 lines, as the role involves managing incoming and outgoing calls.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential, as the role requires document creation, editing, and formatting.
