Payroll Specialist

This position is central to maintaining smooth financial operations within our team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of high-volume payroll operations across multiple sites
• Collaborate closely with other payroll specialists and accounting professionals
• Liaise with the HR department as needed to ensure seamless payroll operations
• Perform general office administration tasks as required
• Utilize skills in ADP Workforce Now, Benefit Functions, Payroll, and Office Administration to enhance job performance
• Stay updated on changes in payroll and tax laws to ensure compliance
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to payroll
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
• Assist in other HR-related tasks as necessary, leveraging knowledge in HR and benefits
• Provide excellent customer service in resolving employee inquiries related to payroll

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll specialist role or similar.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of benefit functions.
• Strong skills in payroll management and processing.
• Experience in office administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Certification from the American Payroll Association is a plus.
