Key Responsibilities
-Plan and manage mining-focused construction projects, including underground infrastructure and material handling systems.-Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mining-related structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation specific to mining operations.
- Coordinate with mining site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks unique to mining environments, including geotechnical and operational challenges.
- Manage procurement processes for specialized mining equipment and materials.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure the successful completion of mining construction projects.
- Prepare detailed project reports, tracking performance against key milestones and deliverables.
- Tertiary education in construction/project management or related field, or at least 5 years of experience in a related role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering results on time and budget.
