PMA-290 Senior Logistics Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Position is within the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Program Office (PMA-290) in support of the P-8A Poseidon Ground Station (PGS) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Tasking includes Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS), program management, acquisition, and other life-cycle management evolutions for the acquisition, fielding, support, and sustainment of the PGS. Positional duties involve all activities involving ILS/IPS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management support as they apply to all PGS lifecycle evolutions.These duties include supporting development, implementation, and updates to the PGS maintenance concept (Operational, Intermediate, and Depot-Levels), maintenance requirements, maintenance plan/planning, and associated resources; assistance with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis efforts; support with Condition-Based Maintenance/Plus (CBM/CBM+) activities; and managing actions, procedures, and techniques necessary to determine requirements to acquire, catalog, receive, store, transfer, issue and dispose of PGS consumable/repairable spare parts and supplies.
Tasking may also include assisting with and participating in the preparation, coordination, operation, and post evaluation of Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) reviews, Readiness Improvement Program Reviews, IPT meetings, Maintenance Engineering Logistics reviews, and other technical and logistics meetings.May be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD and involves a hybrid work schedule (in office and telework arrangement). Requisition ESI0115.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires an MS/MA degree, OR a BS/BA and an additional four (4) years of relevant experience, OR a HS Diploma/GED and an additional ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Must have ten (10) years of logistics acquisition, sustainment, and/or aviation maintenance experience.
- In-depth familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Planning, RCM, CBM/CBM+, and the provisioning/sustainment of consumable/repairable spares is highly desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Requires an active DoD Secret Level Clearance
