Vice President of Operations

At least 10 years of operational supervisory experience is required, with at least 5 years in a management position in manufacturing. Other required proficiencies include strategic planning, team management, budget management and reporting. This is moderate sized plant of less than 100 employees.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:

• Lead the operational strategy and execution of high-level initiatives while ensuring that the company maintains efficient and effective operations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and manage teams to drive business performance, streamline processes, and achieve long-term operational goals.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth coordination between functions, such as production, supply chain, quality, and customer commitments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of operational processes.
• Lead the performing operations team
• Collaborate with the finance department to create and manage operations budget
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and external partners
• Prepare reports and make recommendations to the CEO

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or similar
• At least 10 years of leadership in manufacturing and 5+ years in a management role
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement
• strong leadership and team management to motivate the workforce
• Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision making abilities
