job summary:Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or worksite by performing the following duties:
- JOB DUTIES
- Read work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving material or products.
- Unload all incoming deliveries and ensure there is no shipping damage to items removed from trucks.
- Coordinates any receiving discrepancies with Purchasing
- Responsible for marking part numbers and stock locations on the appropriate boxes
- Responsible for moving all received materials from QC inspection location, to its proper inventory location
- Responsible for filing packing lists and related freight bills in appropriate files
- Responsible for the general cleanliness receiving area and maintaining a safe work environment
- Responsible for following ISO policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
salary: $18/hr
work hours: 6:00AM to 2:45PM
qualifications:
- up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)
- Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
