WHO YOULL WORK WITH
This is a full-time position based out of our Bain office in Mexico and is an integral part of the Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE) of the Bain Capability Network. The PI CoE collaborates with case teams globally, assisting with a range of cost reduction and optimization activities.This includes cost diagnostics, procurement analytics, zero-based budgeting, supply chain optimization, and the creation of intellectual property for performance improvement cases across Bains ecosystem. The PI CoE leverages advanced data analysis, visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and dynamic insights to deliver impactful results for clients.
WHERE YOULL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Associate in the PI CoE, you will play a pivotal role in delivering key insights, leading project deliverables, and contributing to Bains broader performance improvement efforts globally.
WHAT YOULL DO
Take ownership of project deliverables related to performance improvement initiatives.
Analyze client financial, cost, and headcount data to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Conduct benchmarking analyses and support Bains global teams in cost optimization across functions.
Research and analyze industry trends across geographies to generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with Bain case teams under the guidance of senior leadership to validate assumptions and align recommendations with industry benchmarks.
Utilize analytical tools and internal repositories to extract, analyze, and present data-driven insights.
Deliver client-ready documentation with actionable solutions.
Lead individual project deployments and maintain clear, effective communication with stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
Graduate (preferably with a degree in engineering, science, commerce, business, or economics) with 24 years of relevant experience, or an MBA/Postgraduate with a strong academic record and 03 years of experience. Experience in consulting is preferred.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop pragmatic solutions.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required; knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, or AI tools is a bonus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights to senior stakeholders, including Bain managers, partners, and clients.
