We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the medical devices industry for a Medical Administrator located in Irving, Texas, United States. As a Medical Administrator, your primary role will be to handle patient processing, manage office operations, maintain patient files, and ensure compliance with corporate protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general office tasks such as handling phones, daily correspondence, maintaining paper and electronic file systems, and ensuring the readiness of the front office, conference room, kitchen, and clinical care areas for daily operations.
- Oversee patient appointments by scheduling, confirming, and preparing all necessary paperwork and release forms for prosthetic and follow-up appointments.
- Coordinate patient processing which includes initial patient info, patient check-in and check-out, patient intake information, patient education, and updating the corporate database.
- Assist with Spanish speaking patients and ensure practice patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance protocols.
- Conduct benefit verification checks and manage patient file information to keep it current daily.
- Be present during administration of patient evaluation or satisfaction survey and build relationships with potential patients.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports with tracking information and ensure compliance projects and upkeep.
- Communicate to the corporate office about major expenses, payments or write-offs, and executive expense reports.
- Coordinate and manage the overall office clinical staff schedule and maintain a log for office repairs or needs.
- Send surveys and ensure all patient appointments are properly prepared.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by management. • Proficiency in Customer Service practices, displaying excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish Language to facilitate effective communication with a diverse range of patients.
- Familiarity with Medical Office operations, equipment, and protocols.
- Ability to perform Receptionist Duties including receiving visitors, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
- Experience in Answering Inbound Calls, providing information, and directing calls as necessary.
- Proven capability in Record Keeping, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient details.
- Competence in Data Entry tasks, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent listening skills for addressing Patient Concerns adequately and compassionately.
- Knowledge of medical Billing procedures, with the ability to handle insurance claims and patient invoices.
- Proficiency in Coordinating Appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments in a timely manner.
