Controller

We are looking to bring a Controller into our team in the detail-oriented Services industry located in Bellingham, Massachusetts. As a Controller, your main role will be to manage all aspects of our financial operations, from overseeing accounts payable and receivable to preparing financial statements and ensuring cash management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable
• Preparation and review of financial statements including Balance Sheet and Income Statements
• Carry out general ledger tasks and journal entries
• Manage cash flow and ensure efficient cash management
• Coordinate payroll process using ADP
• Act as a point person for IT relations
• Manage the financial plan, primarily at year-end
• Handle the ordering of office supplies and perform ad hoc tasks as needed
• Step in for accounts payable and receivable roles when necessary
• Utilize Epicor - Profit 21 for various accounting functions.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar, detail-oriented role within the Services industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Demonstrable experience in managing Accounting Functions
• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong knowledge and experience in Auditing procedures
• Experience in managing Budget Processes is necessary
• Proficiency in using Epicor software is required
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Ability to prepare and analyze Monthly Statements
