Geneva, IL. 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM- 11:00 PM Hourly rate: $18.00
- $19.00 Experience Needed:
- Forklift Certification: Must have a valid forklift operator certification (typically OSHA-approved or equivalent).
- Previous Forklift Experience: Typically, 6 months to 2 years of experience operating forklifts, including different types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks, or reach trucks).
- Warehouse or Manufacturing Experience: Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment is often required.
- Knowledge of Safety Protocols: Familiarity with safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations and proper load-handling techniques.
- Equipment Maintenance Experience: Basic knowledge of forklift maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Inventory Management: Experience with inventory control systems or warehouse management systems (WMS) is often beneficial.
- Material Handling: Experience with loading/unloading trucks, stacking, and moving materials within tight spaces.

Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods.
- Safely transport materials between storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas according to warehouse standards.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure safe handling of materials, preventing damage or accidents.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in inventory management tasks.
- Communicate with supervisors, warehouse staff, and drivers to coordinate logistics.
- Use scanners and inventory software to log material movements.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
