What You'll Get To Do:

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Amazon Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for key sales functions supporting the Panasonic Consumer Appliances business. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of our Amazon 1P business, ensuring seamless execution of orders, optimizing product listings, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales growth.
Qualified candidates are required to have a deep understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role will require leveraging data-driven insights to identify problems and recommend solutions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about E-commerce and willing to learn best practices for success in a constantly evolving retail environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Catalog and Digital Shelf Management
  • Maximize product visibility, market share, and conversions by managing catalog integrity, digital shelf presence, and content optimization. Leverage data insights to drive traffic and enhance share of voice to support sales performance and market share growth.
  • Manage and optimize product listings, collaborating with Marketing and Creative teams to improve product copy, images, videos, and enhanced/A+ content.
  • Regularly analyze and improve the digital shelf to increase visibility and competitiveness.
  • Track and optimize share of voice and share of shelf metrics to enhance market share.
  • Manage new item setup, existing item updates, and execute Vine sampling programs.
Pricing and Promotions Management
  • Plan, track, and optimize promotional activities to increase conversions and support sales targets.
  • Recommend and revise promotions based on sales data and performance insights.
  • Work with Merchandising teams to develop pricing strategies and execute promotional roadmaps.
  • Input, monitor, and track promotions in Amazon Vendor Central (VC) and/or Power BI
  • Manage internal CORF creation and promotions checkbook.
Forecasting and Data Analysis
  • Monitor inventory trends, adjust forecasts, and leverage data-driven insights to ensure availability and selection.
  • Review inventory and weekly order trends to accurately make recommendations on sales forecasts.
  • Manage monthly forecast reviews and update model-level sales plans.
  • Track and optimize confirmation rates while mitigating OOS risks and supply chain disruptions.
  • Support weekly business review meetings to identify upside opportunities and develop countermeasures.
  • Analyze key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and ad efficiency using Power BI and Excel.
Operational Support
  • Ensure smooth execution of Amazon operations, including order processing, issue resolution, and compliance with Vendor Central requirements.
  • Regularly collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure Amazon best practices are being met.
  • Manage purchase orders, chargebacks, and dispute resolution within Vendor Central. Track and resolve chargebacks while evaluating process improvements. Manage Andon cord resolution with Service and Merchandising teams. Coordinate customer reviews and Q&A response execution, as needed.
  • Submit, track, and escalate Amazon VC support cases related to sales, marketing, and catalog issues.
  • Assist in Lost Buy Box (LBB) reduction by managing listing activity and enforcement.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years work experience
  • 2 plus years of experience managing Amazon 1P (Vendor Central) accounts.
Desired Key Competencies
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s operational and marketing ecosystem, including Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, and other third-party tools; additional Seller Central experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data analysis and insights.
  • Strong analytical and solutions-oriented mindset to adapt to dynamic eCommerce business needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated for effective and excellent follow-up and follow-thru capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

The wage range of $60,000 - $75,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.

*The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
