State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

The compensation range for CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, and MA is $38,567 to $67,367.

The compensation range for NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, and ME is $35,061 to $61,243.

The compensation range for UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, and WV is $31,555 to $55,118.

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Summary:

The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the department. This role demonstrates administrative competence and general office management skills to provide administrative assistance, manage Outlook calendars, meetings, phones, visitors, travel and expenses, facilities, supply orders and mail distribution.

Effectively communicates with department management and team members.

Shares support of the department and its vendors for clerical activities such as facilities and desktop changes, security access to systems and buildings, team member onboarding, and meeting coordination, including off-site events.

Processes, records, and maintains documents and files per departmental and Company requirements.

Maintains management’s calendars and support their daily work schedule.

Arranges travel plans and reservations for staff, including expense tracking, reporting, mileage, and travel profiles.

Responds to and resolves external and internal customer inquiries, complaints, and related issues.

Education: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) and may include specialized or vocational coursework.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience
Minimum of one (1) year working experience in an administrative role for a large or mid-size company.
Working experience using common office equipment, i.e. printer, scanner, fax machine, etc.

Prior work experience in an insurance environment preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience supporting an IT organization.

Prior experience supporting executive level leaders such as Sr Director and above.
