PREMIER has an immediate opportunity for a NOD (Notice of Defect) and CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) Analyst located in Washington, DC. The government customer is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP).

The NOD and CAPA - Data Analyst/Program Analyst will be responsible for the following:

Track documented NOD defects found in BEP products. Identify and monitor trends, and if necessary, enter them into the Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) system for formal investigation. CAPA is the primary method to implement continual improvement in the BEP's Quality Management System (QMS) through corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide backup and supplementary support to the NOD (Notice of Defect) and CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) Programs
  • Support the analysis and administrative requirements of the NOD and CAPA programs.
  • Provide analysis and administrative support activities to include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the preparation and update of metrics for the NOD and CAPA programs, and other quality reporting programs.
  • Support the preparation of MS PowerPoint slides for various metrics for inclusion in presentations for various meetings throughout the week, month, or year.
  • Support the development of new metrics based on requests from the Quality Directorate, Change Control Board (CCB) Administrator, or CCB activities.
  • Support the analysis and evaluation (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) of the effectiveness of the NOD and CAPA programs in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Support the review of administrative audit and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective action required.
  • Support the preparation of meeting documents, agendas and minutes
  • Provide monthly issuance of NOD and CAPA meeting agendas and minutes by requested deadlines
  • Provide NOD and CAPA or other quality reports issuance by requested deadlines prior to meetings
  • Provide any other materials related to NOD and CAPA.

Qualifications:

Minimum/General Experience: Five (5) years
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 standards

Advanced knowledge of NOD and CAPA processes and procedures

Previous Federal government experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance from the Federal Government.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must know Microsoft Suite, specifically MS Word (advanced) and MS Excel (advanced), and MS Office 365 e-mail.
  • Communicate well with a diverse group of people including senior government Chiefs.
  • Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines through strong organizational skills.
