We are in search of a Tax Accountant to join our team located in Florence, Texas, 76527, United States. This role encompasses the preparation and filing of various tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate tax records.

You will also be tasked with coordinating tax-related projects, conducting tax research, and providing support in tax planning.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file an array of tax returns, including federal, state, and local.
Collaborate with external CPAs on tax-related project management.
Validate the accuracy and completeness of tax forms prior to submission.
Guarantee full compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Continually update knowledge on current tax laws and regulations.
Establish and supervise internal controls related to tax compliance.
Maintain a systematic record of tax documents and related correspondence.
Conduct comprehensive research on various tax issues.
Assist the Controller with audits, financial statement preparation, and other accounting duties.
Address tax-related inquiries promptly and accurately.

Skills:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.
Experience with Crystal Reports and Epicor.
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Accounting Functions.
Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Auditing.
Understanding of Budget Processes and Cash Activity. • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Knowledge of Crystal Reports
Familiarity with Epicor
Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Capability to perform Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Proficient in Auditing
Knowledge of Budget Processes
Ability to handle Cash Activity
