We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Department in ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), conducting financial analysis, and providing management with crucial financial information.

• Conduct detailed reviews of financial records and perform analytical work.
• Research and analyze accounts to provide management with financial information.
• Manage the company’s accounts receivable function, including posting customer payments and recording transactions.
• Ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable and facilitate swift payment of invoices.
• Handle client billing issues and verify discrepancies.
• Prepare invoices and bank deposits.
• Participate in special projects and prepare various special reports.
• Assist with cost accounting tasks and inventory management.
• Maintain a well-organized accounting filing system.
• Contribute to month-end closings and inventory counts. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with the General Ledger
• Ability to accurately perform Journal Entries
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of NetSuite software
• Proficiency in Oracle software
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Familiarity with SAP software
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
