Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Keep precise records of customer credit
• Address and resolve customer inquiries effectively
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action
• Prepare and code invoices with accuracy and submit them for further processing
• Set up vendors, manage vendor files, and file invoices
• Process check requests and prepare checks for mailing and distribution
• Reconcile past-due unpaid invoices through careful review of received statements
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and liaise with business partners to address invoice issues
• Manage voids, open accounts payable, and maintain ABR records
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role such as Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and processes.
• Demonstrated skills in Data Entry, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Practical experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data.
• Proven ability in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate.
• Experience in Vendor Management, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
