Responsibilities Include:
- Handle high volume accounts payable transactions
- Process payments for loans and leases
- Communicate regularly with vendors and maintain up-to-date vendor files
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
- Respond to inquiries from vendors promptly and professionally
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager
- Analyze financial information and maintain accurate records
- Assist with daily, monthly, and yearly accounting activities and projects.
- Demonstrate ability to research and problem solve independently
- Ensure confidentiality, balance team and individual responsibilities, and build commitment to goals and objectives.
- Possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Have strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Proficient in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus
- Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
