Power Electronics Engineer

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Electronics) Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Experience: 9-25 years Designing and constructing power electronics hardware and software systems suited for specific applications. Testing and evaluating power electronic devices for performance, safety, and reliability under different conditions.
Improving existing electronic systems by integrating new technology or refining components to increase the efficiency and durability of the system. Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff to resolve system malfunctions or to devise innovations that enhance system performance.
Conducting detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety or quality standards. Implementing control circuits and software required for high-power systems such as motor drives and uninterruptible power supplies.
