Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist with a solid background in operations, logistics, distribution, shipping, and 3PL.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting shipping operations, managing logistics, and ensuring the smooth flow of shipments to customers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day activities for outbound orders, creating detailed reconciliation reports, and analyzing export/import data to drive process improvements.

You'll also work closely with distribution centers, handle escalations, and contribute to system enhancements that integrate new shipping services.

This position requires a high attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and an enthusiastic attitude. Experience with ERP software and Warehouse Management Systems is a huge plus!

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

o Oversee day-to-day activities to support the fulfillment of outbound orders and ensure operational efficiency. Using multiple ERP system to accomplish daily task.

o Craft and deliver daily internal and third-party logistics (3PL) reconciliation reports to track order accuracy and inventory levels.

o Analyze and interpret export/import data from various internal and external data sources to support decision-making and process improvements.

o Support system updates and enhancements to integrate new shipping services and capabilities.

o Facilitate effective communication between our client and third-party distribution centers to ensure alignment and issue resolution.

o Attend weekly meetings with distribution centers to prioritize orders, address issues, and optimize fulfillment processes.

o Investigate and resolve lost and damaged package claims, handling escalations with couriers and customers in a timely manner.

o Understand and adhere to international shipping requirements, including export documentation and region-specific criteria.

o Provide support for multiple distribution centers as required to ensure consistent operational performance.

o Analyze shipment data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in transit modes, packaging, and other logistical aspects.

o Develop and maintain an understanding of Routing Guides (RTG) and Shipping Routing Configurations (SRC) to streamline processes.

o Communicate our client's shipping policies clearly and effectively to internal teams and external partners.

o Manage sales and customer escalations, providing resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

o Review, analyze, and report on system data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fulfillment warehouse operations and/or logistics management.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • strong knowledge of general business software with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new applications.
  • Ability to articulate complex processes and translate them into actionable steps.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in managing phone, email, and meeting interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.
