Accountant

This role requires the individual work on site for 24 hrs/wk, with hours being worked Mon - Fri between 8AM and 5PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices and record payments in a timely manner.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and address any related issues.
• Maintain financial records in line with the company's policies and procedures.
• Use Sage software to manage all aspects of accounts payable.
• Post general ledger journal entries while ensuring data accuracy.
• Support payroll functions using the Paychex software.
• Manage queries related to accounts payable efficiently.
• Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Use Concur, ERP, and other accounting software systems to perform duties.
• Carry out auditing tasks and manage the balance sheet account.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Sage Software for enhanced accounting and payroll functions.
2. Strong understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
3. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage and reconcile outgoing payments.
4. Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to track and ensure timely receipt of payments.
5. Familiarity with Auditing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records.
6. Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account procedures for accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
7. Experience with Paychex Payroll for efficient payroll management and processing.
