IT Security Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Manager in the manufacturing industry based in Novi, Michigan, United States. In this role, you will focus on enhancing and maintaining IT processes for regulatory and general controls, ensuring compliance at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate compliance gaps by reviewing cybersecurity and risk standards, and implement necessary security remediation.
• Analyze and draw conclusions on cybersecurity and risk issues through root cause analysis.
• Lead projects related to compliance or governance activities, demonstrating a proactive approach in implementing new controls.
• Guide application teams throughout all development and testing phases, disseminating best practices.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver training to the end-user community, ensuring knowledge transfer and capacity building.
• Collaborate with members of technology solution center, infrastructure, and internal audit teams on implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT processes.
• Monitor and review changes and documentation updates to ensure they meet policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing control automation and process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with change control procedures and policies.
• Participate in the change management process, ensuring that all releases are compliant with IT general controls and enterprise standards.
• Oversee the vulnerability Scans report, coordinating and monitoring progress with IT infrastructure in patch management.
• Collaborate with the IT team to build and maintain regularity compliance evidence and reporting required by Internal Audit and external auditors.
• Work closely with internal and external auditing teams to deliver required regularity compliance evidence, reporting, and answer questions needed to complete audits promptly.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures on a predetermined schedule.
• Assist with IT and cybersecurity budget development and tracking.
• Mentor junior members of the team and assist with skill development. • Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT Security role or related field in the Manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing
• Proven experience in Cybersecurity compliance
• Extensive knowledge of Cyber Security
• Familiarity with Network Vulnerability
• Proficiency in Security Vulnerability
• Experience in Vulnerability Analysis
• Proficiency in Vulnerability Scanning
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
