We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our client's team located in Dayton, New Jersey. The role involves handling major accounts, developing relationships, and ensuring smooth internal team coordination. This position requires an individual skilled in Account Management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage major accounts, with a focus on ensuring effective service and fostering strong relationships.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal teams, ensuring coordination and communication for account-related activities.
  • Monitor account activities and maintain a comprehensive understanding of account status at all times.
  • Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders associated with the account.
  • Travel to meet with account representatives as required, ensuring effective communication and relationship building.
  • Report directly to the director of national accounts, providing updates and insights on account status.
  • Work in-person for four days of the week with a flexible work from home day.
  • Handle account-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Dig deep into account details when dealing with major accounts, ensuring thorough understanding and effective management.
  • Participate in the discretionary bonus scheme, contributing to team performance and account success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Demonstrated experience in Account Management or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
