Warehouse/Utility Worker
Overview:
Warehouse Worker – Swing Shift Location: PACE Supply Distribution Center, Stockton, CA
PACE Supply is seeking experienced Warehouse Workers for the Swing Shift (Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM, with potential overtime). Responsibilities include picking, receiving, loading trailers, putting away products, and operating equipment such as Order Pickers, Stand-up Lifts, and Reach Lifts.The role requires using RF Guns to scan inventory and meeting productivity standards. Responsibilities:
- Look up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information using the computer, as needed.
- Replenish shelves and racks from overstock when necessary.
- Foster a positive work environment by collaborating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
- Receive orders from the supervisor based on prepared and prioritized work tags.
- Pull orders from inventory manually or using a forklift.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, particularly in the assigned work area, to uphold safety standards.
- Operate equipment such as an order picker, stand-up lift, or reach lift.
- Use an RF scanner for inventory management and daily tasks.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.- High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
- Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes.
- Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions with customers and manufacturers.
- Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
- Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.

Physical Requirements:
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions:
- The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
