We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Administrator based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves managing and resolving issues related to employee benefits and payroll in the industry. This job functions primarily in an office setting and is a permanent position.
Responsibilities- Provide information and guidance to employees on matters concerning eligibility, coverage, and provisions of various benefits.
- Handle and resolve any issues related to benefits programs, which may include health, life, and disability insurance, retirement plans, and medical/dependent care spending accounts.
- Manage cases related to leave/accommodation, such as short-term and long-term disability claims, and different types of paid/unpaid leaves.
- Keep the HR System updated with benefits and payroll deductions information.
- Prepare and process payroll for the assigned divisions, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Take responsibility for the precise and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and pay changes.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process, which includes communicating guidelines to employees and processing changes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process various payroll deductions, garnishments, bonuses, and allowances in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Benefits Administrator role or a similar position
- Proficiency in using Paylocity
- Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software
- Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
- Strong knowledge of auditing procedures and practices
- Prior experience in Benefit Functions and Claim Administration
- Proficient in Cobra Administration
- Solid understanding and ability to use CRM systems
- Multi-state payroll experience required, California and Arizona required.
