Accountant - Entry Level

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the IT Software industry, based in Exton, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will join our team and play an instrumental role in processing invoices, generating reports, and undertaking analytical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the accurate and efficient entry of invoices using accounting software systems
• Generate and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
• Participate in analytical projects to improve accounting processes and systems
• Leverage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for effective accounting operations
• Utilize Acomba and CL Programming to enhance accounting functions
• Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounting matters promptly
• Contribute to the team's efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 systems
• Ability to use About Time software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Check Processing
• Entry-level position, suitable for those starting their career in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
